The architectural element of the nook opening to the family room is highlighted by the placement of the antique planter and metal stand.

 An oversized, art nouveau, mirror anchors the space, while reflecting more original artwork from the opposite wall. 

Eclectic; Egyptian acrylic painting is featured above a Japanese cabinet with Tibetan blue-copper bell and other travel objects.
